Click for Varadero, Cuba Forecast

We visited Cuba at the start of June, I was nervous about the weather as I had heard that it is the rainy season and I had been checking the weather forecasts and they predicted thunderstorms. When we first arrived the heavens opened and I have never seen rain like it, and it continued like that for the whole evening, I was convinced that it would never stop.
The next day the sun was out with a few clouds, by around 2pm it had clouded over and that happened again for the first 3 days, after that the weather couldn't have been better, we had a few rain storms in the late afternoon, and the last 3 days of our holiday it was cloudy all day, but for anyone thinking you don't need sun cream then you are wrong I saw a few people who got quite badly sun burnt when it was cloudy as they didn't think they needed to put any protection on. The sun is very strong in the Caribbean and I advise strongly to wear cream everyday even when the sun isn't out.
